Choosing the perfect wedding suit

As Spring approaches, which tends to be the busiest period for wedding enquires in our store and we have seen plenty of weddings in our time, we have put together a guide on what to expect from your experience with us and make sure your day goes off without a hitch.
Our collection of ceremonial wear at Andréa Kọsta offers refined tailoring with sophistication. No matter the season or occasion, we can dress you and your party from head to toe. All tailored to you, down to the last detail.

Begin the process three to four months before your wedding date to give you enough time to explore your options. This will also let us make sure you’ll receive your garment with enough time to make any last minute adjustments should they be necessary. You can email, pop into the store, or call us so we can give you an idea on timeframes and estimated costs depending on your requirements. Following which, we suggest two months prior to the big day to book an appointment so we can take detailed measurements and finalise your order. On placing your order, we require a 50% deposit and the remaining balance to be paid once your garments have arrived and we assess if any further adjustments are required.

Consider the time of year and location of the wedding. This will play a big role in choosing the right fabric and weight; you will want to feel comfortable and as relaxed as possible on your big day.

Before selecting your wedding attire, the most important thing to bear in mind is of course, the dress code. Black tie is probably the most straightforward option, but ‘black-tie optional’ or casual may be a touch more difficult. Either way, we can advise you on the perfect choice.

Set time aside for styling. Finding the right shoes, tie, pocket square, socks and cufflinks does take time. We can provide all or most of these or give advice otherwise.

Let your best man and groomsmen know what to wear, as well as where and when to get fitted (hopefully with us too!). Give them enough time and notice prior to the big day to prepare.

Consider having an extra shirt on standby on your special day. A small stain can ruin your photos! Regardless, a fresh shirt for back up or for the second part of the day is always a good idea.

Wear in your new shoes before the big day. Comfort is key to really enjoying yourself.

We know that planning your wedding attire is all about the fine details, and we’re here to make sure that everything is tailored to perfection. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. We look forward to helping you create the look of your dreams and being part of such a special time in your life!
